My virgina itches and burnes sumtimes and I wanted 2 know if I have sumthing!! I have never had s*x!!!?

I am a 14 year old girl and like my virgina itches all the time for the past few days! I have never had s*x and I don't know what's wrong! How do I cure this?

A number of things could have happened down there.  It could be a yeast infection that can be brought on by a number of things like not rinsing well, using a different soap, the foods you eat, the clothes you wear and what you wash them in.  In your case, if the doctor calls it a "yeast infection" its probably better for you to think of it as a skin irritation.  You're young and have probably been taught that a yeast infection is what you get when you are nasty.  I was taught the same thing and was afraid to tell my mom too when I was 15, a virgin, and no fooling around.  but it became too much for me and turns out my new soap was messing with my body's normal ph.  I am a doctor now and I have seen a lot of ways you can get an itch down there. Let your parents or guardians know so that they can take you to a doctor and know for sure exactly what it is.  DONT TRY TO CURE IT OVER THE COUNTER.  If you're wrong you can do more damage have someone take you to a doctor.

Either you shaved you pubic hair which would make you v****a itch or you may have a yeast infection. You don't have to have s*x to have a yeast infection, it can occur when your under lots of stress or wearing pants or underwear that irritate you. Check with your doctor and speak to your mother or someone older who you'll feel comfortable talking to. You can also purchase some vaginal itching cream.

Sounds liek a yeast infection which is very very common for us girls and it isnt something you get from s*x or a toilet seat or anything like that.

Go to the store and buy some Vagisil cream, that will help with the itch.  Talk to your mom about it, no question she has had a yeast infection before and will know just what to get you.

And dont be embarrassed about it, you didnt do anything wrong and it is such a normal and common thing for us girls....really, it is ok!

And....a yeast infection is not a big deal, although no fun and uncomfortable.  Very easily cured!

      It's probably something like a yeast infection. Don't you have a health program at your school ? If not talk to a favorite Aunt or older sister. Your Mom. Some Pharmacist have females now working for them, talk to one of them.

     If all else fails, see your school nurse.

DoN"T HAVE s*x because if you don't know what a YEAST INFECTION is you don't need to even think about that. You have a yeast infection. Tell your mom and she'll take you to the doctor. You need a cream for it or diflucan. And i'm not being mean i'm honestly saying don't do that unless your educated. You need to talk to a woman about your body. Because honestly I can't believe you even thought this or didn't know what that was. I knew at 10 what one was because I had them a lot. Just some advice for you. Those are the symptomes of a yeast infection. tell your mom or dad and go to the doctor. they will perscribe you something or you can go to the store and buy something like monostate. BUT make sure to tell your parents.
