My visa is B1B2 can i change that to fiance visa until to get married?

im currently in USA and my visa is B1B2.i have been here since Nov.14 and im gonna get married do i need to change my visa to fiance visa until when i get married.

  1. Nope, you can't change from B!/B2 to K1.  The K1 is to *enter* the USA in order to get married.

    If you entered in November, you're probably good until May- you did get a six-month B2 entry, didn't you? Check your I-94 that the Immigration Inspector gave you when you were admitted.  

    If you get married before your status expires (check that I-94), you and your spouse can go to the INS office and apply for a "change of status." You'll have to jump through some hoops, but you'll end up with a LPR status and the concomitant "green card" that's really kinda pinkish.
