My vision is -9 . Is that really bad?

From what I know. NOone I know has vision so bad lk me..

Is - 10 blind?

How much degrees can contacts lenses be made? Max?

I 'm gonna get Lasik at 18. How much can it fix?

Yes, anything above--600 is consider to be bad

My vision used to be -9.75 in my right eye and -10.25 in the left.  Astigmatism of +2.00 and 1.25 respectively.  -Legally blind without correction.

Lasik surgery corrected my vision to 20 20!  I used to wear gas permeable lenses, which was like having gravel in my eyes, but decided on surgery. It was the best decision of my life!!  

Be sure to check the credentials of the attending physician prior to consenting to the surgery.  You only have one set of eyes.
