  1. Yes, all those other answers are good. The key here is to try to stay there at Varsity. You improve the most when you're practicing and playing against people at a higher level. Cherish that time there and make the most of it!  Bust your butt and show them you belong. Even if you dont' end up starting at Var, the practice at that level will more than likely get you ready to start there possibly next year.

  2. When  I was a sophmore  my coach made me practice with the jv and varsity team.  I played very little varsity however.  Usually when we were definetly winning, sometimes when we were in a pinch.  Then junior year I was starting varsity.  In you situation I would say that you will probably be seeing a lot of varsity time since he had you practice with just varsity.  You may not be starting varsity but it is still very good.

  3. I just had the same exact thing happen last week!!! I am a  freshman and made starting JV and my coach had me practice with varsity this week. In my case, it meant he was considering moving me up, so it is probably the same with you...hopefully you do good luck in ur season : )

  4. There are several possible answers.

Your coach could think you just need a challenge.

Your coach could be thinking of promoting you and testing to see how you play at a higher level.

Your coach could be sending a message to the varsity.  Try hard or you could be replaced, even by someone on the freshmen team.

Your coach could be sending a message to the freshmen and JV teams.  Try hard and you could be promoted.

My best guess would be that the coach is thinking of promoting you and testing you to see how you handle the varsity type of play.

  5. It probably means you have a lot of potential

to become a first string volley ball player.

  6. it cud mean she thinks ur needin to get a better excersize. or it cud mean she thinks ur better than all the other freshman gurlz

  7. I think it's different at every school and for every coach...When somebody at my school is told to practice with the varsity, it means they are considering moving you up so they want to see how you work with them.

Other teams just practice with the varsity for the more intense workout. I would think if the coach told you personally to start practicing than they want to see your full potential and maybe move up to JV or something.
