Last year I purchase a brand new car.. this was in March. Then I lost my job and home, and ended up doing a voluntary repossession in October. I was so worried that it was going to hit my credit report and that I would have to claim bankruptcy. Now I have pulled both Trans-union and Equifax and they both say the car loan is closed, paid, no amount still owed, ZERO balance!! They also do not indicate that it was sent to collections, as some of my other bills do. Does this mean I really do not owe on my car any longer? It's been almost a year, I would think that something negative would be on my report but there's nothing there. I haven't contacted chrysler, because I'm worried that I will create an issue. Any ideas how this works? What should I do?

  1. Ignore it. Don't draw attention to it. The worst that can happen from ignoring your status is that you MIGHT end up having it re-instated. Let sleeping dogs lie and feel lucky.

  2. based on your condition,I believe you should find something useful here.http://carloan.onlineidea.info/free-car-...

  3. nothing till something happens. They may have sold for what you owed
