My vw golf tdi dosent seem to be working right. ?

Is there anywhere i can take it to get a performance check. The turbo is not right.

Bullocks on the dealer, how about an independent that works on German cars?

Go to the nearest VW dealer

look for blown seals,cracks in induction hoses...thats normally the fault with them...

Ask friends or family for a recommended garage - if the performance is poor, it's most likely to be something simple like a split or loose hose between turbo & inlet manifold or vacuum pipe.

At the risk of sounding totally stupid, how about your local VW dealer?

As a mechanic i would plug the car into my Diagnostic machine and look at the boost pressure values first to see what was going on. If the car boosts in say surges the egr valve could possible be faulty.
