My wall phone key pad no longer works. I can talk if someone calls, I get a dial tone. Is that hard to fix?

  1. Fixing it depends on whether there are any parts to fix. Could be that the keypad is sticky and needs cleaning. I'd stick to a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol for that. Otherwise, considering how cheap corded phone sets are, you might be due for a replacement.

    Phone company service plans tend to cover inside wiring, but not equipment, and not everyone pays for one.


  2. You have to call your service provider and ask them if they can come and fix it because most of the companies provide phone care plans.
