My washer is leaving black spots on my whites! HELP!?!

When I wash my white clothes in my washing machine, It leaves dark stains everywhere that I cant even remove with bleach! WHAT IS THIS PLEASE HELP!

could be oil if the dryer is really old. or dirt build up. try using clr to clean the washer

Spray liquid Bleach generously all inside the machine close the lid and leave for 15 mins and then run once with water upto full level.

{try to keep your eyes away from the bleach of cover eyes with a plastic cover}

Or

Run the machine once with full level warm water with 2 cups of bleach. Pause in between for 15 mins and continue.

It sounds like it might be leaving mold deposits. Try running a cycle with no clothes in it, hot, with a cup of bleach.  If the stains are more brown than black, though, that would be rust in the pipes.
