My washer smells like somehting died in there, do you think it may have been a rat?

I am so mad. I washed my clothes in there and now they stink so bad, its so disgusting. I don't know what it is that stinks so bad.

It may be some stale water that has gotten nasty in the machine.  Run a load of whites on hot with lots of bleach.  That usually gets it out.  Also, if you have a front loader, the inside sometimes gets stinky unless you leave the door open after you run a load - it needs to dry out.  Again, run a load of whites on hot with lots of bleach to cure it.  Then leave the door partially open after you run a load until it is completely dry.

i would check in or underneath the washer. if it made your clothes smell, it may be in one of the water lines. try running the washer without any clothes and see if it still smells, call the manufacturer and troubleshoot.

WELL U MIGHT OF WAIT OK WELL MAYBE BEFOR U PUT UR CLOTHES IN THE WASHER SOMTHING GOT IN THERE AND MADE IT SMEL OR ITS JUST U WAT DOES UR LAUNDRY DETERGENT SMELL LIKE IT MIGHT BE THAT OR THAT AND THE SMELL OF UR CLOTHES MIXED TOGETHER. GLAD TO HELP!

i think you should have a little more respect for rats then just calling them something that stinks up your clothes and i hope a poor rat didnt die in your washer.
