My water heater is over flowing from the top.

Question

I turned off the gas on the water heater 2 days ago, when i went into the basement the water heater was over flowing from the inside, the water was coming out of the little holes on top. Any suggestions?

I too had this problem.Turn off the water supply,sadly it is cactus! ring the plumber to solve the problem but be sure you tell him what is happening as this will save you the cost of him visiting twice,he will more than likey bring a new system with him.

turn off the water supply to the house and call in a plumber.
