The pressure tank is inside my house. The pump is a submergable pump inside my well. All fuses have been changed, breakers checked. Air pressure checked. There is no noise coming from my pump. What else can I do, or what should I check. The well is not easily accessible, so I can't check the pump. Approximately how much does it cost for a plumber to come and replace a pump that is submerged in the well. Thanks!

  1. you may either have a bad pressure switch, around $40, or a bad pump which would then depend on how much it costs.

  2. It could be just the pressure switch, but you said the fuses have been changed.  If the fuses to the pump blew then the pump is bad.
