My web-cam wont work ?

when i plug in my webcam to my laptop it says that i need a cd to install for my webcam but i dont have the cd so what should i do ??

It would be better if you told us what webcam you have (what type, what manufacturer etc.)

Once you know, you can search on google for a download that is basically the same as the cd.

I agree with strider, we need to know what brand it is. However, most web cams come with a cd. I'm not sure if yours is used or what but if it's not then the cd has to be somewhere in the box.
