This past Saturday was my Engagement Party and Sunday was my Bridal Shower. I ate cheese, sausage, chips, alcoholic drinks, sweets, you name it - I ate it. Also, yesterday I ate cake and icecream, and today at work I ate cake at a going-away party.

Also, my gym was closed yesterday and today.

HOW CAN I GET MY *** BAD IN GEAR? I am 5'7 and a half, at 134 pounds.

Usually I workout like this:

Monday - Upper body & Back & 20 mins cardio

Tues - Core & 30 mins cardio

Wednesday - Lower & 25 mins cardio

Thurs - Upper body & Core & 30 minutes of cardio

  1. Cardio, cardio, cardio!!! 3,500 calories makes 1 pound. Contol your eating habits and eat clean foods that are helping your body, not sabotaging it. Drink lots and lots of water. No salt!!!! And get good sleep you can burn 1,800 calories just by resting!! Good luck!!!

  2. You are 5'7 and 134 pounds - what is there to get in gear? Sounds like you have a wonderful figure!

Do you have Comcast or On Demand TV? On Demand has a great exercise channel that has all sorts of workouts right there on the TV. I am always going through there trying out different programs.

Don't worry - I am sure that you will be fine. Despite eating what you did all the things keeping you busy this week and the stress will most likely drop some pounds. I know a week before my wedding I dropped about 5 pounds. I wasn't really trying - it just happened because I was so busy and stressed.

You will look amazing in your gown...and you better come back and post some pictures! Good luck to you and enjoy your day!

  3. Did you know you can walk for exercise (great cardio when you increase the speed and the distance over time) and you can do this out of doors - ya don't even need a gym.  Keep this in mind for emergencies, such as this, and do your strengthening in the gym.

  4. FORGET about solid foods and soda!

drink water and try to eat baby food or fruit cocktail.

Try getting a yoga dvd that may also help you relax since the days before the wedding are very stressful.

  5. You'll be fine. Just don't eat anything fatty, starchy or sugary and go for long walks or jog in the morning. Stick to milk, salads, fresh fruits and grilled meat and veggies :)

  6. Get back on track with the very next meal, and take a bike ride or go for a jog tonight. Also, get LOTS of sleep and take a B complex vitamin. Both keep your metabolism running.

  7. Do cardio EVERY day. It will help. Especially running. Don't forget to eat so you have energy for all the cardio. Eat good for you foods so it energizes you to workout.
