  1. I recommend using a checklist and a good organizer.  I did a lot of things with Excel, but recently discovered www.weddingwire.com.  I highly recommend it, and wish I had found it earlier in my planning.  (It's free, by the way).

  2. theknot.com is the best place to go.  they give you a checklist of things to do month by month.  that's what i used & it seems to have worked pretty well.  i would say that your next step is your dress & music.  good luck!

  3. Go to theknot.com and sign up with them. They will give you a check list of everything that you need to get done and should have done by now.

Have you picked out your dress?

    Your bridesmaid dresses?

    Bridal party?

    Do you need a caterer?

My advice would be to get a binder and make sections for the following:

    Church/Officiant

    Reception Venue/Caterer

    Rehearsal Dinner

    Photographer

    Flowers

    Music/DJ/Band

    Transportation

    Cake

    Dresses/Attire

    Hair/Makeup

    Registry

    Guest List/Invitations

    Budget

    Honeymoon

Misc - Favors/Bridal Party Gifts, etc.

  4. Relax!  You've got the major "long-term" items handled!  All the items listed on this site give good direction and specifics.  The most important for the remaining planning is to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime (hopefully) chance to create the type of day filled with memories you'll cherish for the rest of your life!

And DON'T pass up the opportunity to attend at least one bridal show...even if it's just for the fun of it!
