I am not familiar with the area and our budget is tight. For the ceremony we are set but for the reception I am tearing my hair out. I need a space in the DFW metroplex that fits 100 people where we will be allowed to drink alcohol and have a dance floor and sound system until about 2am. AND I can only spend about $600. What do I do? Can anyone help direct me to the right place? I am getting very depressed about it. Thanks

  1. that may be a very unrealistic budget for what you are looking for.

try VFW and knights of columbus halls!

  2. I am getting married in March 09 and am having it at the Village Country Club in Dallas.  It will hold up to 100 people (which is how many we're having) and is the cheapest I found ($2500 food and beverage minimum).  I say if that's too expensive look at having it at a friend's, family member's or local park and just cater in light lunch foods (have it during the day).  Only problem would be if you had it at one of those places you would have to get permits and all that (alcohol and whichever others that city requires).  You've still got a while to save up so if you can, look into the Village Country Club and email me if you want pics of it or contact information.  Plus they have an onsite coordinator to help with everything.
