My whirlpool is leaving an oiley around the tub before anyone gets in it. whats wrong?

we have had our tub for about 10 years, It still runs fine, just started leaving dark ring in the last 2 weeks.

Sometimes mold and algea grow inside the pump and piping for the jetts.find a small round brush and try cleaning as far as you can reach into the jetts when their shut off of course then fill the tub and add one gallon of bleach, let the jetts run for twenty minutes then drain. fill it again and repeat without the bleach.  It may take a few times flushing it with bleach once a week but it should kill the algea and come clean.
