I have a white bathing suit with multi colored polka dots on it. I went in a hot tub in it without thinking about the consequences and it is now yellow. I've tried color-safe bleaching it to no avail. Is there a way to make it pure white again?

  1. Try Mrs. Stewarts Blueing solution. It is a product that whitens Whites. Do an online search to see where to buy it.

  2. I have used baking soda to get stains out of the carpet.  I wonder if it would work here.  Just soak your suit in 1/4 cup of baking soda and some water.  Let it sit for a few hours, rinse and hang in the sun to dry.  You can add some fresh lemon juice to help as well.

I know that adding perxoide will also help in stain removal, but I would be careful as the perxoide could damage the material.

    Hope this helps!
