Question:

My whole life I've had dreams that I'm flying. I've always been scared of heights. Is there any meaning to it?

It feels so natural in my dreams, like I already know what flying feels like. But in real life I fear heights more than most things.

Usually it starts by running. Gravity doesn't affect me so my body rises higher than usual (as though springs are beneath my feet), and rather than landing on the ground my feet land on invisible stairs that I can't feel. I'm now running meters above the air, and start floating/flying.

  1. The interpretation of flying  could be one of the following ( it could be none as dreams interpretation are usually conjectures ):

    1- You'll travel alot .

    2- A wish will come true .

3- If the flying was voluntarily it means good things will happen to you .

I think landing on something invisible which you can't feel has a meaning but I don't know what it is .

  2. Flying dreams are very common and oh yeah, they feel great! Don't worry your dreams are taking you to new heights and you are feeling moments of being carefree. All good stuff and nothing to worry about or secrets hidden. Best wishes.

    Light & Love,

  3. I was told once that flying dreams are the subconscious way

    of expressing sexual freedom.

  4. are u from krypton

  5. who no's

it is the same with me and climbing

  6. ur minds wants to fly but u physically afraid of heights.

  7. Isn't it in your dreams, the sky is the limit!..Maybe you want your fear of heights to go away!..

  8. I have had two flying dreams and I am also afraid of heights and flying on airplanes.  If they are connected then my flying dreams signal me overcoming my fears -- not my fear of flying or heights necessarily (I am reluctant to give that up, though for a believer it is irrational as I will die when God has decided I will die so I guess I should), but other more important fears we have in our conscious and subconscious.  In one dream I am flying out of body and then come down and land inside a body of someone who is not me.  In real life overcoming my fears, I find that I am not who I or anyone else thought I was, but the real me is someone different hidden inside who can finally come out to face the world.

If your dreams are connected to your fear of heights, they signal you not only are overcoming your fears, but having the strength and courage to run head first right into them for battle gives you an elevated status -- you have an invisible helper providing assistance.

  9. Flying is my favourite passtime in a dream! Lately they are getting  better, meaning I can go higher with more safety (electric wires (trams) and sometimes getting away from nasty people.

I'm always showing off. There are always people seeing (as opposed to watching) me in wonderment. I just love it!
