He moved out over a year ago, and nothing I, or my wife have done has gotten rid of his body odor. His old room isn't carpeted, and he took all of his belongings with him when he moved out. How can I get rid of his odor?

  1. Oh my....Try cleaning with a mild bleach solution. And use some febreeze. Open the windows on a very breezy day. If that doesn't work, try new paint. Do you have wood floors? Maybe the smell has soaked into the wood????

  2. wash down the walls with baking soda and water 1/2 cup of soda to 1 gallon of water, follow up with a rinse of vinegar and water, 1cup vinegar to 1 gallon water, and  air the room- out-open the windows

  3. God... repaint it, maybe that may get the stentch out a bit. Put fragrance plug ins like Glade or Febreeze. Put candles. Open a window. If it does not go away call an expert. Maybe there is something more then just a left over smell.

  4. I would try the first two suggestions first  but I would hold off on the re-

painting.  If you still have noticed an unpleasant odor than I would have

the room fumigated before repainting.  Because if you don't fumigate it

first than all you would doing is masking the odor and not eliminating it.
