  1. One pair of walking shoes and the rest sandals. Even you dressy shoes should be sandals as it is hot in the Caribbean. Now how many she brings is up to her, but you can only bring so much in your suitcase and no one looks that much at your shoes. For me i would bring 2 regular sandals, 1 pair of shoes to walk in and 1 pair of dressy sandals. That should be more then enough.

  2. Pick shoes depending on what activities you'll participate in...

    - Dress shoes if you'll participate in formal night

    - Walking shoes, if you plan to walk

    - Beach shoes

Personally I usually bring one pair of black heels for the evening, one pair of comfortable-but-nice-looking leather walking shoes, and a pair of flip-flops.

    There's a good packing checklist here: http://www.cruisesavvy.com/savvyguide/kn...

and if she wants to go minimalist there's a guide to only packing what you can carry on here: http://www.cruisesavvy.com/savvyguide/kn...

    Hope that helps!

  3. Crocs - "Adara" so comfy  it doesn't matter if they get wet or not, and dress shoes for the Dining Room for dinner.

  4. Flip flops and dress shoes.

  5. If you are planning on going in the water, you might want a pair of watershoes.

A pair of sandles or flip flops for on the boat.

She might want to invest in a pair of sneakers if you plan on doing a lot of walking. You can do walking in any shoes, but I know from experience that a sunburn on the tops of your feet really hurts!!

You might also want to bring a pair of fancy shoes in case your cruise has a formal night (some people go all out on formal night. Some people bring dresses and I've even seen prom dresses. But just a nice pair of pants and a nice shirt wil do.)

    I hope I helped!

  6. Flip flops and if yall are doing anything nice like going to eat at a nice place then some nice dress shoes.

  7. Go to cruisecritic.com and check out the beauty and fashion section. There's lots of constructive and specific advice there.

  8. We just went on a 7day Western Caribb. cruise in March . . . Some of the answer depends on the cruiseline, because some have more formal dress than others.  You can probably get on the cruiseline's website to find out how many formal nights they have, how many 'dressy casual,' how many whatever.  Then she just needs shoes to match those outfits- ie, one formal shoes, one dressy casual shoes (or one pair that can work for both nights) . . . Plus sandals for the pool, and comfortable walking shoes for shore excursions.  She won't need sneakers unless she's going to the gym, or wants them for her comfortable walking shoes.  But comfortable sandals are probably better for that . . . it gets hot!
