My wife and I received our Economic Stimulus check today...?

The check has my wife's maiden name (she didn't have it legally changed till after we were married a few months). Should she sign it with her maiden name as it is on the check, or with her new name?

she should sign the refund check as it is listed on the check.

She also should go before next filing season and change her name at the social security office and IRS.

She should sign with the name on the check.  If the account is in her new name, the bank might request her to sign it twice, once with each name.

She should sign with the name on the check.  She should go to the SS administration and have her name changed.  They will notify the IRS and you can use her married name when you file next year.
