My wife does not appreciate my new profession?

my wife does not appreciate that i have found a new beloved calling, acting. no, she thinks i won't make it as an actor and makes me to go back to being a doctor. before we moved i was an analyst and a therapist. the world's first analrapist. how can i show her that the universe has put acting in my heart?

Continue to be a doctor, but pursue acting on the side till you make it.

Being a doctor is an honorable, high paying job. It would be really stupid to quit for something that is not reliable. Trust me, there are thousands of VERY talented people that just do not make it in the biz.

I use to work in the production part of the movies and meant a lot of actors.  I can tell you this to keep your day job unless you become very very very very very well known and even then some of them have other jobs as well because you can only stay in the spot lights for so long then comes along someone else to take your place.  Sample look what happened to Ed Mackman he lost his house?  Young actors have a better chance and/or if you are a stone fox's or as good looking as Elvis was or you are a look-a-like.  Good luck to you.  What is an Anal-rapist?  Is it where you check people bottoms to see if they were raped and you analyzed for s***n?
