My wife gave birth 2 mth ago but the blood still keep on coming non stop,please help

3 weeks ago she went for check up and the doctor told her that she has a liver and kidney problem,does this problem has anything to do with her blood

  1. If her blood lose is very heavy consult your doc incase of infection. Usually bleeding can occur on and off for several months until the body regulates itself again but usually this is just light blood loss and spotting.


  2. It shouldn't have anything to do with it, its a completely different area, after you give birth you can bleed up to 8-weeks or more, but if your that concerned you should go to the doctor!

  3. You should consult your doctor but I don't think the bleeding is related to her liver or kidney. I had blood and tissue draining for up to 3 months after I had my baby.

  4. i bled for 5 weeks after my son was born and at 7 weeks i started my first post baby period that lasted for a long 9 days and i was breastfeeding so she may bleed alot, but as long as shes not soaking a complete pad an hour she will be ok, just be sure she stays hydrated..the bleeding is all normal i don't think it has anything to do with her kidney and liver issues...if she has pain with urination, then go to doc, that could be a sign of some larger kidney malfunctioning
