b/c the pathology report was unclear we are getting a second opinion at John's Hopkins. However, my wife is completely freaking out. Granted I understand she is upset and that melanoma is very likely to be fatal. Do you think she is over re-acting ? I keep telling her to stay in the moment as much as possible until we get a clear diagnosis. Her family doesn't want to talk with her about it b/c they can't handle it when someone is emotional. And is her family being unsupported?

  1. You are right to say stay in the moment. And from what I hear John Hopkins is a very good hospital. Sometimes we don't get support from the people who we need it from the most like our family so it looks like she is turning to you. Please go with her and hold her hand if she needs it. - Likely it is nothing but best not to take chances . Best wishes to you

  2. A melanoma is one of the most malignant tumours. She may be upset because she would have sensed something.

I pray that the report will be favourable.Give her all the support she requires
