So she has her Indefinite residency permit in her passport, but we'd like to go back to China for 6 months to visit her family. (Her parents were refused a visa to visit us and their grandchild they have never seen)

I was just wondering whether my wife will have any problems re-entering the UK after 6 months away. We will be travelling away together with our 2 kids who have British Passports. But I'll be leaving after 4 weeks and she'll follow with the kids around 5 months later.

Thanks

  1. fact. it shouldn't be no more than 2 years CONTINOUSLY. that's the difference between being a british and having ILR. british can go out of the country  indefinitely, and come back anytime. otherwise, your ILR will be revoke.
