My wife has a blackberry 8320. What can we reasonably expect to do with the wi-fi capability?

  2. I have the same. Pretty much everything on the blackberry is faster when using Wifi, from sending emails with attachments to surfing the net, to downloading programs.

    I am happy with mine... because Tmobile has GPRS (slowest internet) here. Wifi speeds it up greatly.

    Phone calls: Really not much, unless you sign up for their HotSpot at home program which basically gets you unlimited calls using your Blackberry connected to Wifi for $10 extra a month. Without the extra add-on, the blackberry will still use wifi for calls, but are billed as normal calls. (the plan doesnt limit this to your wifi, but any open wifi)
