My wife is black and I am white, we live in a mostly white area, what area should we live in to be excepted?

would it be smarter for us to live in a more black area, when we are in a black area people seem not too look at us weird as much

first of all i would like to say that i love the fact that you married a black woman.I'm black and my mother and i are the only black people in town to see black people we have to drive a few miles away.where i live we get called the n word get yelled at on the street and everything else the cops dont do anything not even schools when i get called the n word. were here to make the racist people mad and say this is our country anyway my point isit may be better for you to live in a more diverse neighborhood but you shouldnt let anyone try to chase you two away. just think about it for a while i believe you two will make a wise decision.much love.

You will be happy with your environment, when you are happy and accepting of your marriage.  If you are content, comfortable and do not care about those that might not like your situation, then you can live anywhere.

Pick a place.  Live there, and be an example to everyone, of a loving, kind, friendly, smiling neighbour.

No matter where you go, you take yourself with you.

If you take a good, positive, friendly attitude, you will fit in anywhere.  I have a "mixed" family and we have always been accepted, no matter where we have lived.

Live wherever your money will take you and wherever you can afford to go, Black, White, or otherwise. Don't worry about the neighbors. They will come around. If they don't, the h**l with them. Its 2008! Why let anyone dictate where you should or shouldn't live?
