my wife (on F2 visa) has got restraining order against me as we had some differences. now she is living with her married sisters who are on H1B visas. they are harassing me now using different ways; from court, asking money for compensation etc. but as i am a student (F1 visa), i am not able to support myself legally because of financial problems. how can i cancel her visa so that she can go back to her country and will not be able to harass me?

  1. Her sisters are on visa so they can not support her in an application for a visa, she will soon realize that once her dependent visa runs out she will be illegal. So when you renew yours then don't renew hers, if you are not living as a married couple. Talk to your college about what you do with regard to her current visa, if you are seperated.

  2. It's a bit complicated. The only thing you can do is when your F-1 visa expired at the end of the year, you renew only yourself and not hers. In other words, you just have to wait till her expires and not renew it.
