  1. Buy her ice cream!

  2. She can take whichever antacid her doctor recommends. Saltine crackers and a little 7-Up might help. Have her eat small, frequent meals throughout the day. Have her sleep in more of an inclined position if she can comfortably. If she takes her pre-natal vitamins at night, she might try taking them in the morning instead.

    Congratulations!

  3. experienced this myself.  there is nothing you can do about her heartburn. just be ready to get her some water. she really shouldn't take any antacids right now.

  4. tums!!!!

  5. Peppermint can help, as can drinking milk.

Sleeping slightly sitting up can help too, as when she lies flat, the stomach juices can "go up" the wrong way.

    Good luck with your baby.

  6. GAVISCON GAVISCON GAVISCON!!!!!!!!!

I am 31 weeks pregnant and have the bottle by the bed.  Tell your wife not to bother with the spoon either - no time for that!!

Oh and I feel her pain!!

  7. Buy her a foam wedge to elevate her torso while sleeping.  It works.
