  1. Do you mean Rome, Italy?

It depends on why she was detained.  Did she commit a crime?  An immigration violation?

Are you a Filipino living in the Philippines?  Do you have money for a  lawyer?  It might be expensive.  If you don't have money, the best thing to do might be to write a lot of letters to government officials, in both countries, explaining the problem and asking for help.

  2. this is very sad, i live in rome and am aware of the shocking numbers of illegal people here,i would phone the airport....or your local police centre.i dont think they could keep her very long, because they will dont want illegal people here. her name will just be written on a list and she will not be able to return again or maybe she will get a very big fine depending on how long she has been here.

  3. I don't think your wife is in the airport.

She is detained in the deportation camp - wich by case is close to airport.

Detaination can not last more then 2 months. The authorty will judge wether to give her freedon or to deport to Philippines.

In the while you should contact an assosation for rights of migrants or the Philipino Association.

  4. You need to conact the Philippine Embassy in Rome as soon as possible. They can figure out what is happening to your wife and assist her:

Embassy of the Philippines in Rome, Italy

    Via delle Medaglie d' Oro

    No. 112-114

    00136 Rome, Italy

    City: Rome

    Phone: (3906) 39-746-621/781/717

    Fax: 00-3906-39740-872

    Email: romepe@agora.it

  5. Why are you asking help of a bunch of strangers on a site notorious for giving horrible answers??  This is serious business and needs your serious attention.  Please, contact your Embassy and try and figure out what is going on.  No one here can help you.  Sorry!
