My wife said she tried to commit suicide?

My wife is very depressed and has told me she tried to commit suicide. I got home one day and she was in the fetal position crying on the kitchen floor. I told her mother and she visited for several weeks. She still talks of hopelessness. I have 4 children 5 to 19. I can not ask our church for help since she feels she is being punished by them for not attending the building our neighborhood is assigned to. she wants to attend where she is more comfortable. The leader of the church said our family can only serve in the church our neighborhood is assigned to. She feels betrade by god which is what her life is about. We have been married 20 years and there have been many things that set her off and get her depressed. I am afraid to get her labeled. But I will hate myself if I do not get her help. Please give me advise.

You need to forget what people may think of you and get her help.

Whats more important? Your reputation or her life?

Get her to see a psychiatrist ASAP.

Labels don't matter unless you let them. I'm 47 and have lived with depression for 29 years. Meds are important. For me, every time I felt better I'd stop, which would lead to spiralling downward again. I take my meds every day.

My God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Father of Jesus, does not betray his children, though testing us is not out of the question. Reference the book of Job.

Tell her she's got people praying for her that she doesn't even know.

God does not want the death of the sinner but to become and be saved

God loves the post that gave him life and believe in his own image and likeness, died by it on the cross for the remission of their sins and now wants to commit the greatest of sins

the murder of himself for this sin because there can be no repentance and penance

know that when this life pass her soul will be put on trial and there will be given their eternal reward: heaven, purgatory or h**l

if the choice of love for God not you think

this is the last and most effective

brother but it is painful for everybody's sake

read and know what to do next

I would have died

if she commits suicide to kill a man and thus would be a murder in the eyes of god

PRAY A GOD FOR THE SOUL OF YOUR WIFE

And a lie is what the church says

Preferably go to a Catholic because the others only care about money.

who knows which lies you have said about this because Catholicism is the religion other sects are thirsty for money

she needs the help.  please, if you care about her, get her help!  The doctor visit can be between just you and your wife (and the doc of course)...no one else needs to know unless you feel the need to tell them.  But dont' let this fear of getting her labeled stop you from getting her help.

There are kids involved in this... so get her help. All it takes is that one time.

I think it may be best to have her admitted to hospital. There they can watch her, get her immediate help and make sure she is more emotionally sound to be around her children and will not release her until then... and has support systems in place.

If you think that is too much... what is too much is finding your dead parent on the floor one day.

As well, maybe its time to find a new church. Outing her like that is not very God like (just my opinion).

Please take her to an ER and let them know she need to be admitted for suicidal reasons.
