My wife (she's Thai) needs a inexpensive hotel near Bumrungrad Hospital one night any suggestions?

She has to renew a prescription and have some medical tests. Usually when we go she's with me and we stay in a Tourist hotel but by herself she'd probably be more comfortable with Thai people as guests, is there such a thing?

Try Hotel Ibis it is a low cost hotel chain, but still maintains cleaniness.

After all she is your wife and you want the best for her.

There is a Ibis near Victory Monument which is near the hospital and good luck with the test.

I think there is a less expensive guesthouse on soi 1 somewhere but I don't have any info - - of course, that is a big tourist area and any place will have farang guests... soi 3 outside Bumrungrad has some lesser expensive hotels but the clientelle is sort of seedy and I would not advise herto stay there especially if she is alone - - you know the area in general - - right?

There is a women's only hotel off of Sukhumvit Road.  You would have to use Skytrain and taxi cabs to get close to the hospital.  

The name of the hotel is "Gunn's House" and it is at Sukhumvit Road Soi 53/1.  There telephone number (from an old card) is [phone].  

I had to meet someone (a Farang) at this place and security was pretty good - the female desk watch ORDERED me to stay in the lobby and not go anywhere!   No men allowed in the rooms.
