She sounded like someone were murdering her. I was in the other room watching "Seinfeld."

What does her dream mean?

  1. maybe she really did see her Mother.

  2. Did you know her mother? Maybe there were unresolved issues between them..  Maybe they didn't get along that well. and otherwise she had a bad nightmare.. I guess if my mother was dead and I was asleep and she was actually ''hovering over me in my sleep'' hovering sounds menacing not like a spirit from the Otherworld that is protecting her daughter then I guess if I could I would scream as well.. Sometimes people get nightmares.. maybe they got along fine and she didn't understand why her once loving mother.. was ''hovering over her'' that's almost like an evil spirit.. a friendly spirit.. would make a person feel relaxed even if it's just dreaming about a dead relative.. then she would feel protected and not frightened by this ''imagined spirit'' so in this case.. this was a nightmare that her mother rather came back to haunt her instead of looking out for her and to just see that all is well with her daughter.. that would make me shout out also.. if I could find my voice during a nightmare... x*x

  3. Her mom was trying to communicate with her, rather she was sleeping or awake you did not mention. Sometimes you only have the single chance to communicate with the dead spirit but other times you have more chances to communicate with them. Tell your wife that if she ever sees her dead mother again she is lucky. That she should communicate with her.

    Or...

Your wife may have been missing her mom a whole lot lately and it ead up to that dream.

  4. She was just having a nightmare. They  don't have  to always mean anything.

  5. she must have treated her mom like c**p and was feeling guilty about something she did

  6. I think the souls of those who have passed are able to communicate with us. It's how we interpret the experience that matters in the end. The suddenness of it all can be frightening. It only matters how she feels afterwards.

  7. It is possiable that her mother was actually there. It would make more sence to assume that it was a dream, but we don't know for sure....just don't tell her she's crazy because if she believes her mother was there then either she was or wasen't but let her believe that she was.

Unless of course it freaked her out then tell her it was a bad dream.

  8. i believe she probably did as I have had that happen with family that died.
