  1. No way! AB is probably the best blood group to have!  You can GET blood from anyone!  A- and B+ aren'y too bad either (I'm B+ woo woo!)

  2. Look, buddy - you better check with your clergyman.

  3. Yes and no.

Yes - There is a problem if:

    1. The baby is an Rh negative (the + and - after the letter).

    2. During delivery of the baby some of the baby's blood comes in contact with your wife's blood.

    3. She thereby develops antibodies towards Rh + antigen.

      and

    4. Your subsequent baby is Rh +.

No - The above scenario can be eliminated if your wife receives a simple shot within 24 hours after delivery.  It's called a Rhogam injection and would be necessary after each Rh+ baby your wife delivers.

Not a big deal if done.

A big deal if not done.

  4. If this is her first pregnancy then no, there will not be a problem.   If not her first then there could be a risk but a simple shot can take care of this.  It's important to tell the doctor right away.

  5. I am also A-.  My son was born A- and his father was B+...Whenever a woman who has a negative blood type becomes pregnant she has something called the Negative RH factor.  The dr. will give her a shot after the birth of your child and all will be fine.  No worries!

  6. Dont think so . the only concern regarding blood groups during pregnancy is the rhesus factor , if ur wife is rhesus neg she will be monitored closely but try not to worry , i myself am rhesus negative and have had 4 healthy babies :)

    Congratulations x

  7. No not at all. Blood is not transferred through s*x. everything will be fine homie

  8. Your doctor will let you know!!

  9. nope thats what my parents were and i am ab+
