  1. u could have put it in the wrong way. take it out and flip it so that the side with the title of the game is on the right and then put it back in.

  2. Chances are that you are one of the unlucky people that is having a problem with the optical disk reader that's defective in a select few Wii systems. Your only option is to have it shipped to Nintendo for repair. Your warranty should cover it (because it's a known defect) and shouldn't take more than a 2-week turn around.

Go to nintendo's website to get instructions on how to have it shipped for repairs.

DO NOT try and fix it yourself... you'll void your warranty and your only option will only be to buy a new one...

  3. This may seem like a silly question,

but are you sure you are putting the disc in the correct way?

A lot of people have this problem.

Make sure that the side with the disc art is facing away from the SD slot.

If this doesn't help, or if you are inserting it the correct way, your Wii may be defective, or full of dust.

    Call Nintendo at 1-800-255-3700

they can usually repair or clean it for no charge to you as long as the Wii is still in warranty.

    Hope this helps!
