My wii internet always used to work and now its giving me an error can someone please give me a simple answer?

Reset the wii or your wireless router.

What is the error?  That should point you in the right direction.  Since it was working correctly and now is not I would try a couple things as a quick fix.

1) unplug your router for 15 seconds then plug back in.  Sometimes they become hung and need to be reset.

2) Completely power off you Wii and then power on

If that  still does not work then you will want to reset your wireless security settings  on the Wii (make sure they match your router) Assuming your network supporting your wireless setup is secure (I hope).  If the passkey (code or wepkey) is not exact you will not be able to access your Internet from the Wii or any other devices connected to the router.
