My wii remote controller got completely submerged into a bucket of water..is it completely broke for good? Or is there a way I can get it fixed and working again? I took the batteries out, and let it dry completely, put new batteries in, and the blue lights on the bottom don't even flash. HELP!!! Do I need to buy a new one? Or is there any way I can fix this?!

sucks... but i dried it... i opened it up... took off the screws... opened it.. and left it out in the sun for a while... then put it back together... and it started working again!!... weird... if that doesnt work with the wii... then yeah... your gonna have to buy a new one... good luck...

  10. Almost for sure.

Warning! Site above looks like spam!

  11. cover it in toohpaste and milk for about and hour

  12. AHHH! Disaster. Let it fry for a few days, replace the batteries and if it still doesn't work, it done 4.

When my friend got her voyager wet, someone told her that she should put it in (dry) rice so maybe that helps, too.

  13. I think you need to buy a new one, because the inside chip will not work if it's in water

  14. buy a new one.

  15. its toast, you should probably buy a new one. But before you do make sure that it doesn't work so try it again just in case. It will probably cost less than it would to repair it if you just bought a new one. You might even have a warranty on it, so call up nintendo or the place where you purchased it from to make sure.

  16. why did you put it in a bucket of water???????

maybe open it and shake it out.

  17. It is a lost cause and waste of time you are gonna need to buy a new one!

  18. Take the controller apart, put it inside a bowl of rice for a day or so. Afterwards, if it still doesn't work put it in a dehumidifier used for cooking...leave it in there for 12-24 hours, it should work again.

  19. The key is to get the battery out as soon as you can so that it doesn't short out. Completely dry it and leave it in a warmer location.
