My window xp has expired; i need to get a free window genuine ?

After about 2 mo. of setup win xp ;always a box appeared on the task bar with {u may be a vitim of software counterfeting... who can help me to get a new one with genuine..?

Your local computer shop would be happy to sell you a genuine copy of Windows.

Unpaid for Windows is illegal.

Unpaid for GNU/Linux is the norm, legal and encouraged.  It is free in the sense of liberty, as well.

If you can use a computer, you can use GNU/Linux (especially Mandriva).

Give it a try.  If you use a Live CD you DON'T have to INSTALL to your hard drive.  Or you could use a USB key, pretty much the same.

That happened to me but we payed for ours and it happened after about 2 years which makes no sense.I dont think you can fix it.

You can remove wga with this program, but you will keep getting it back after a while, You should not have auto update on. When there is a new update to install, you will get the wga back

You should consider getting a legal copy of Windows XP. You will have to hurry however, because will not be for sail anymore. You will have to get vista and do you know whether your pc is vista ready. Probably not, and you will have to spend a lot of money to update it.

It will be muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch cheaper to get windows xp.

You and millions of others would like to have a "free genuine Windows." There is no such thing. Genuine Windows isn't free. And yours expired because it was illegal.

You can't get a free version of Windows X.P it comes pre installed usually.

You CANNOT get a free genuine version of Windows X.P you gotta pay for it!

I've no sympathy for you if you downloaded an illegal version!

Windows is not open source and I very much doubt it ever will be. Considered taking a look at Linux. There are some some cracking easy to use distros. these days and all open source.
