My windows 98 won't let me download anything, particularly my updates. whats up?

I want to play my games scrabble cubes, text twist on this older computer i got. it only has windows 98. can i play them on it? ive tried downloading the updates but it just wont download. any suggestions?

  1. Windows 98 is no longer supported by Microsoft.


  2. Buy Windows XP. Oh I forgot. They do not sell that OS anymore. Buy XP used. Time to upgrade.

    Try upgrading to XP or Vista ?

  4. start with the basics, check all the connections and make sure they work.  Check the Device Manager and make sure all the drivers look like they are ok.  Check the networking properties and make sure that is normal.  then repost here and maybe I'll have better answers.
