Question:

My windows Xp speakers are set on high but when i turn the volume up loud you can barely hear them?

My speakers are not unplugged and probably not blown since i only turn them up about half way

  1. Stock speakers have a volume control on the side. These speakers run off of 12v. provided by the computer. Check the 12 volt output to see if it is plugged in. There is a ble light in the lower center of the right channel speaker indicating that they are recieving power. Check the volume control on the tool bar to make sure the volume is not muted there, or it could be lower in one or more program that share the windows voolume control. I always raise the volume control before closeing any program while in windows.


  2. Do you have volume control on your keyboard? If yes, you need to turn it up as well - also check how there plugged in - it might not be in all the way. Also use the volume control thats on your compouter.
