My windows xp puter is booting slow, what should I keep checked or uncheck in the system config utility?

I had it running nice and smooth but somehow my messenger programs got back in my startup along with every other item in the list. I am not sure how it happened but it did. I have since unchecked the messenger programs and some of the video programs so that helped but there are still many boxes left to check or uncheck. Which ones are NEEDED to run puter smoothly. I will uncheck the rest.

the only way i can accurately tell you is you must list what you have checked.
