My windstar leaks brake fluid from the bottom of the engine by the passenger tire is this a big job?

i have to put a bottle of fluid in the brake fluid holder once a week.

  1. If is really brake fluid ,then you may have a leak at the caliper.

    Should not be to hard to replace with a rebuilt or used one.

    .


  2. you have a brake hose leak or the brake caliper itself is leaking, more than likely it's the brake hose, it's really not a hard job to do but you have to know what your doing as you need to bleed the front brakes after installing the new hose.

  3. not a big job... but you have to know what part is bad.... anytime you lose brake fluid... you should stop driving the car... if you have to add more than once a year might be ok but if you have to add anymore than that you got a Dangerous problem.... STOP driving it,, fix it now or you run the big chance you won't stop when you have too

  4. no not a big job,sounds like a rubber brake line or caliper leaking.
