My wipers on my F250 got slower and slower finally stopped what part do I replace

  1. It's a wiper motor. They're usually pretty cheap, not more than $20 and fairly easy to have put on. Some people will tell you it's a fuse or wiring, but I've had this happen on a few different cars before and that's what it's been every time.


  2. The wiper motor should be located under the hood just below the windshield,usually on the driver's side.That's where mine was on my Chevy K1500.I would think it is in a similar location on most full size trucks.Mine was about $50.00 and was easy to replace.By the way, mine just stopped working one day...kind of scary when it's raining.I got out and wiggled the motor and they started working again, but not for long.It seems the metal contact inside the motor had wore down.
