My wireless connection stopped working all of a sudden, help?

My wireless network on my laptop has started to act up all of a sudden. One day it was working just fine but the next it stopped working entirely. It does one of two things depending on where I go:

1. It'll say connected but when I try to open the internet it will not work at all.

2. It'll say something is wrong with the IP address, I'm sorry that it's not very specific ((sp)) but I will update it later when the error pops up again. But its saying that the IP address is the same, but its for all different networks that I try so its a bit weird...Like I said, I'll update this one when the error comes up again.

Anyone have any idea what I should do?

Check the other networks in the area, if you can't pick up any, your the problem.

On the icon where it shows your network connection, click 'Diagnose and Repair' It'll refresh your Ip, and if that was the problem, you should be up and running.

Try doing this.

Go to run, then type cmd or start all programs accessories> command prompt. Just find command prompt.

Type in

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /renew

Don't type all three in at the same type. After ipconfig /release, press enter. Then post results maybe. Then we'll see how it goes form there.
