My wireless internet has stopped working, help?

Question

I had it working a couple months ago but then I went away for a week and when I came back it stopped working. I have my D-link hooked up to a Lynksis 4-Port Router that is hooked up to my actual internet.

So when I take the internet cord(whatever you call it) and plug one end into the router and then the other end into the dlink wireless port it doesn't work. But when I plug that same cord into my lap top it does.

I really dont want to have to re-download it onto my computer because I've already gone through all of that.

Any suggestions??? Thank you.

unplug everything, then wait 30 seconds to a minute and plug it all back in! that should work!
