  1. try resetting your wireless router by unplugging it for a few seconds. that usually does the trick. if not go to your device manager and disable your onboard wireless card and then re-enable it

  2. Does your laptop have a network card switch that you may have accidentally switched off?

If it doesn't or if your network card switch is on, perhaps you should try checking to see if your connection is enabled by going to the Control Panel and then Network and Internet Connections.

From there, you should check to see if your connection is enabled or not. If your connection is disabled, you should right click on it and then choose Enable.

If that doesn't work or if your connection is already enabled, you may want to try repairing your connection by right clicking on it and choosing Repair.

If that still doesn't work, perhaps you should try restarting your computer and then checking to see if you're able to access the Internet or your network.

If you're still not able to access the Internet or your network, perhaps you should try resetting your router by unplugging it for about fifteen seconds or so and then plugging it back in.

Good luck and I hope I helped you!

  3. If you have an icon representing your wireless network connection in the toolbar, right click on it, and try the repair option.  If that doesn't work, navigate to your network connections page and try disabling and then enabling the device.

  4. Check that it does not have a tiny slide switch on the side which cuts off the wireless transmitter.
