Question:

My wisdom tooth?

my dad just told me we don't have dental insurance, and I just found out my bottom wisdom tooth is coming in crooked. I have naturally straight teeth and I don't want this messing up my teeth. I thought about pulling it out myself, or getting it really loose and it will just fall out. but that is probably not the best idea. since it's still coming in, all I see is a tiny bit of it so far, is there a way I can correct it to not jab into my other teeth?

thanks

  1. Sorry, but this is not something you can do on your own.  It is less expensive to have it pulled by a dentist, than to have the corrective procedures that will be needed if it messes up all of your other teeth.  I'm sure your dad will understand the importance of attending to this before it causes more problems.

  2. It's surgery.... NOT a DIY project.

It should be a 'one visit' operation, and not too expensive.

  3. my sister had that problem. she had braces as a kid and had perfect teeth. when her wisdom teeth started coming in they started messing up her bottom teeth. you cant control it yourself. you would need the help of a dentist. hers never broke through the skin but she had them pulled. idk if theres anything you can do without the help of a dentist. sorry!
