It's my lower right wisdom tooth and I had stitches. It's not bleeding profusely or anything. I just noticed when I put gauze, it is still getting bloody.

  1. Call your dentist. But in the meantime put a tea bag on it. Like a regular Lipton tea bag.

All four of my wisdom teeth bled for awhile after and this is what the dentist told me to do. It was better than having that gauze in my mouth.

salt water might be a little too harsh for right now.

  2. yeah,it will look pretty grisly for a day or two.Besure to do salt water rinse after eatting nothing to vigurouse or you will dis lodge the clot. And drink fluids  to replenish lost blood.

  3. I had all four wisdom teeth removed on Thursday. Today is Saturday, It was bleeding the first day but do change your gauze after 30 mins. It'll stop bleeding soon. But do not rinse the first day. Do not rinse or gargle hard at all. You can use liquids....mashed potatoes...no solids or hot fluids.  And do not use a straw.

They usually recommend you gently rinse with salt water..warm...the next day. Just let the water move around...move your head gently and lean and just let it fall out. Do not force to spit or anything. I notice I still have a smell in my mouth but the warm salt water should help.

  4. i got all of mine removed exactly 40 hours ago and all of my mine are still bleeding.  I'm in a lot of pain and am  having a hard time moving my mouth to eat any food.

  5. Hm.. Mine bled for 3 and a half hours. It could be normal though. If it's very light, then it'll stop in a little while. Otherwise, call whoever took them out.

But don't forget to add pressure to the gauze or it'll just keep bleeding.

  6. yep normal, probably will be like that for atleast eight hours actually, maybe longer,
