  1. Federal labor law does not require a break if you are over 18. Period. State laws vary; many do NOT have a manditory break law. Check the department of labor homepage for your state. or post where you live.

    Talk to the NLRB office

  2. Nope, COMPLETELY illegal.  Go to Google and search "work guidelines in the state of ______" and it should pop up.  Then contact either the corporate office, or a lawyer.

  3. I know that if you work in either Brittan or the U.S.A.

its NOT legal and you should look up your local

Labor relations board and file a complaint!

BTW: what is the name of the company that you work for?

  4. Contact your local labor department and complain to them not us.  We can't help you, but they can.  Thats just wrong.

  5. It depends on which you work in, but most states (if not all) have labor laws in place that make providing a meal break with a minimum of 30 minutes during a full work day mandatory to employers.

Visiot your state Department of Labor website and look up employee labor rights. You should find your answer there.
