My writing group is featured on the best of yahoo groups?

however it looks like it's a meeting place or something and i'm getting a whole lot of people wanting to join for all the wrong reasons....AGHHHHH!!!!!

It's driving me crazy. How can i get them to put that it's a writing group on the page or if they can't do that remove it?

If you're the group owner or moderator, I highly suggest that you ban the members who are messing your group and set your group to restricted. Or else, you can set your messages moderated to new members so that you can monitor the post of your group new members and you can't allow unwanted posts.
